Caroline Hawkins is the creator and writer of the five-season internationally-acclaimed wildlife soap-opera Meerkat Manor. Credited with changing the landscape of wildlife filmmaking, the series reached 204 million households in 160 countries on the Animal Planet alone. It received 3 Primetime EMMY nominations and countless other awards. In 2019 she was nominated for a BAFTA for Driven: The Billy Monger Story (BBC), a documentary that charted the comeback of an inspirational 17 year-old double-amputee racing driver. In 2023 she produced Murder in the Pacific (BBC) a cinematic three-part documentary unmasking the perpetrators of the 1985 bombing of the Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior.
