Cassandra is an entertainment industry veteran and beauty entrepreneur. Cassandra started her own management company where she successfully guided the careers of Stephanie Mills, actress Stacey Dash (Clueless), Shaun Baker (Actor), Christopher Williams (Singer/Actor) along with notable recording artists like JODECI and Lil' Kim and various songwriters and producers. Her career flourished when entertainment titan Irving Azoff (CEO/Ticketmaster) personally recruited Ms. Mills to join his newly formed Warner Music start-up, Giant Records. Out-of-the-box successes such as, the critically acclaimed, multi-platinum (13 million) selling motion picture soundtrack New Jack City, quickly made Cassandra a leader in the music industry. Dubbed by the Wall Street Journal as "the soundtrack of the decade," the album went on to earn three number one singles, by three different artists, in three different genres of music, Pop, R&B and Rap, a feat never before accomplished prior to Mills' achievement. A continued cycle of hits at Giant Records swiftly led to Cassandra's appointment as President of Urban Music for the label. Along with an eye and ear for talent, Mills is an innovator and pioneer. Her compilation music soundtrack formula, introduced with New Jack City is still in use today, and she was the first to partner a soundtrack with a television series as executive producer of the music soundtrack for the hit television show Beverly Hills 90210. Mills' groundbreaking approach to branding has left an indelible mark, raking in millions of dollars in overlooked revenue while revealing a second-level marketing tool to the industry. During her tenure at Giant, Ms. Mills ushered in the second wave of the boy band craze with her signing of the group Color Me Badd. Their Grammy nominated debut album, CMB, quickly sold more than 4 million copies and included one of the biggest selling singles of its time, "I Wanna Sex You Up," which sold a whopping five million copies. Ms. Mills released other successful gold and platinum albums in Pop, R&B and Rap from artist such as JADE, MC Hammer, Jeremy Jordan, Above the Law, Miki Howard and Ahmad, making her directly responsible for signing projects that contributed in excess of $150 million in revenue for the Warner Music Company. Ms. Mills' accomplishments have led to her being acknowledged as one of the female leaders of the industry. Magazines such as Billboard, Ebony Magazine and Hollywood Reporter note her as an exceptional woman in the entertainment industry. Ms Mills was previously married to Olympic Medalist and sports commentator, Ato Boldon.
