Jennifer Louise La Voie

Jenny was raised in Chicago and stumbled upon her stand-up career in Los Angeles, while waiting tables at a comedy club. She has been featured in film and television such as Comedy Central's Key and Peele and Judd Apatow's Funny People. You can see her portray the role of Candy in Lifetime's Popstar, as well as, hear her voice in Fox's Marmaduke. Jenny's skills expand to hosting trade shows and private parties, corporate entertaining, improvisation and sketch writing. She coaches private lessons on stand-up, audition technique, scene study, voice-over and singing. More Humble Brags: Jenny received a B.F.A. in acting, on a scholarship, from the University of Illinois at Chicago and attended Northwestern University's Cherub program. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles and worked for acclaimed casting director Joey Paul Jensen, C.S.A. on both casting and teaching. She has opened for artists like Craig Robinson, Lachlan Patterson, Chris D'Elia, Tommy Davidson, and Deon Cole to name a few of her favorites!
