A highly trained classical actress, Maggie McCollester developed her theatrical career in NYC, working on Meisner technique at the Esper Studio, improv at Second City, and scene study and on-camera technique at Tim Phillips Studio. Classical roles include Kate in Taming of the Shrew, Celia in As You Like It, and Nora in A Doll's House. Modern roles include Honey in Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf, Curley's Wife in Of Mice and Men, and Maggie in Jake's Women. After moving to LA, her film career grew through both dramatic and comedic roles in projects such as Emmy award-winning Cold Winter's Night, Kissing Cousins and self-produced films Jason's Big Problem and Movie Night which airs on Shorts TV. She has also starred in dozens of national commercials. Maggie is a skillful volleyball player, swimmer, x-country skier, and hiker. A world traveler, she speaks conversational German, and is a quick study in dialects: Am. Southern, British, Norwegian, and of course Minnesotan, her native tongue. Trained in handguns, she is a true action adventure heroine.
