Loren Schofield

Loren's acting career began soon after he moved to the Philadelphia area in 2004. He has studied with Kenneth John McGregor, Donna Marrazzo, Mike Lemon, and Tom Logan. Principal roles in film and television include a diverse variety of characters: priest, bartender, Secret Service chief, Alzheimer's victim, 1880s British magistrate, physician, civil war veteran, businessman, scientist, and beggar. Other credits include commercials, industrials, print, and voice projects. Raised in a rural mid-western community, Loren grew up wanting to "see the world" which lead to his life-long passion for new places and new experiences, beginning with his service in the U.S. Army (December 1964 * October 1967). He has been traveling regularly ever since, both within the U.S. and internationally. Loren holds bachelor and master degrees in business from Illinois State University and worked for many years in sales and management roles. He also taught courses in human resources management, labor/management relations, labor/employment law, organizational development, marketing, and economics at several colleges and universities. Something of a history buff, Loren loves reading and studying, especially anything Ancient Roman or Early American ... and of course he tries to visit many of those places, often taking on (and relishing) the role of tour planner/guide for family members.
