Philip David Lee was born November 16, 1960 in Bridgeport, CT. He graduated Newtown High School in 1978. In January of 1979 he and his family moved to San Jose, California where he attended De Anza Community College and took film classes from Mr. Zaki Lisha. Mr. Lisha was a major influence in developing Philip's love of film. He attended Ohio University in Athens Ohio and concentrated his efforts on his love for comic books where he created his own series The Ghetto Blasters. After college, he lived with his Grandfather, Philip T. Montgomery, in Old Greenwich where he teamed up with the very creative Roberto Codato. The two of them worked together until Philip's grandfather became seriously ill and his attentions were directed to care for him. Upon Philip T. Montgomery's death, Philip used his inheritance to self publish the first issue of The Ghetto Blasters in 1997. He wrote a screenplay based on his characters in 1999 and continued to develop his screen writing abilities exploring all different genres. In 2005, Roberto invited Philip to the Santa Fe Film Festival where he met John Lore. In 2006, with literally no resources, Philip and John were able to complete their first feature film, Nowhere Street. With an incredibly dedicated cast and crew working long hours, they were able to have a successful showing of the film in November of 2006. Philip has helped numerous people with their ideas turning them into solid screenplays.
