Anne Childress is known for her work on Brunch of the Living Dead (2006), The Challenge (2007) and Smead (2011). Born in Los Angeles, California, Ms. Childress worked as an extra on some major films, Harlem Nights and And the Band Played On, in her early career. More recently, she has acted in roles in independent films and shorts. She portrayed Dr. Ahn in a short film, Let's Fall In Love (2006) by Yoonkyong Kwon Productions. She is known in central New York for her acting in regional theater with Salt City Center for the Performing Arts, Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company, Open Hand Theater, CNY Arts Center and the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival. Her most recent roles are Second Citizen/Ensemble in Shakespeare's Coriolanus with the Syracuse Shakespeare Festival, Tom Snout, in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer's Night Dream" at CNY Arts Center in Fulton, NY, and LaWanda, in "The Colored Museum" preview by Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company.
