He attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and graduated in 1999. He graduated in the same class as JJ Feild and Mel Raido who he remains close friends with. He represented the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art at the London National Theatre Voice workshops which lead to him training as a Voice Coach in Canada at York University, Toronto, graduating in 2011. He also trained and holds an MFA in Acting from York University graduating in the same year.
