Jay Joshua Hoffman

Jay was born on June 27, 1986 in Stanford Hospital from Jewish parents Tom and Linda. He grew up in Palo Alto and moved to Arizona for college. Jay has always had a fascination with filmmaking and storytelling. He got his first camera in middle school and at age twelve, started making skits for his sketch comedy show titled, "Sunday Morning Pre-Recorded." His passion only grew from there and in high school he began taking video production and broadcast journalism classes, making comedic segments and short films that aired to the entire school. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Production from the University of Arizona in 2008. Since then he has worked at New Line Cinema, crewed for 3 feature productions, and written/directed over 30 short films. Jay has a love for animation and has been working on an animated pilot that is based on his eccentric Jewish family.
