Kawa Ada was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. He moved to various countries before settling in Toronto, Canada. He was educated at The Boston Conservatory, having graduated with a BFA in Theatre. After being cast on Broadway, he returned to Canada to pursue a stage career. He has played leading roles at some of the most notable theatre companies in the country. He appears in film and television from time to time, and is also a producer/writer.
