Taylor is an experienced actor, producer, director, and musician. Following his current studies with world renowned acting coach Warner Loughlin, studying in Meisner technique at DW Brown Studio, he gained experience in front of the camera on blockbuster films like Star Trek & Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and evolved into a leading man headlining 2013's black comedy, The Mirror. He directed, wrote, produced and starred in a short film called, "Greenback$" with comedian Jud Travis winning best actor and nominated for the audience award at the 2017 Independent Filmmakers Showcase IFS Film Festival in Los Angeles. He booked a Little Tikes titled Christmas Cookies national commercial in the US/CA in 2019 with lots of great exposure on all platforms. He currently completed a feature film script called "Youngblood" with his writing partner Richard Gadziola (For God And Country) about a Devgru team hunting down a Mexican Cartel family. Now, he's completing a new 12 track record with Glen Robinson (Keith Richards, George Martin, Dave Grohl, David Bowie) called "Bullet Proof" coming soon. He's SAG/AFTRA/ACTRA living in Montreal as a permanent resident and getting ready to become a citizen of Canada. Taylor McCluskey was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He began acting at a very young age, appearing in various plays and modeling in print advertisements. Throughout high school, Taylor became an accomplished athlete, rowing for Capital Crew. He moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue his career in acting after winning a talent competition in Universal City. At the age of 18, he booked his first national commercial for Nestea. He studied film at UCLA while interning at Handmade Films. As a student, he worked on numerous film and TV projects to gain as much hands-on knowledge of the industry as he could. In addition to acting, he began developing and producing films, including his first documentary film called Legends, shot in the renowned Therein & Co. on La Cienega Blvd, in which he interviewed the top interior designers of the world and cast light on the legendary Turnabout Theater. His artistic passion also extends to the world of music. He is the founding member of The Maddest Of Madmen and The MFICs, in which he was the lead singer, guitarist and chief songwriter. His current group is self-titled. He produced White Light, Dark Horse, Climbing The Hill, Amen, New Light, Static In Her Head, Bang Bang My Fires For You "Live At Eastwest Studios, Eternal Love, Reckless, Reckless "Live At The Village", Star God and Bullet Proof. He directed and produced all live shows and music videos for The Maddest Of Madmen, The MFICs and Taylor McCluskey. Taylor trained with Si-Fu Eric Oram alongside the finest Wing Chun Kung-Fu students in the world at the LA Wing Chun Academy. He is featured on the cover, and inside the pages, of The Modern Wing Chun Kung Fu Practical Guide To Combat And Self Defence Handbook, which is forwarded by Robert Downey Jr. Taylor credits Wing Chun for strengthening his life, both personally and professionally. As an actor, he's worked with directors such as Michael Bay and J.J. Abrams; as a musician, he has been featured in Poweredge Magazine and on Current TV, and has amassed thousands of fans around the world. If there's a modern day equivalent to a "Renaissance Man," Taylor McCluskey may, in fact, fit the bill.
