Atsushi Sakahara is a Japanese film director/producer/writer. He is currently based in Kyoto, Japan. He is a lecturer for English at Kyoto Seika University and economics for graduate students at Osaka City University. He produced Bean Cake, a Palme d'Or winning short film at Cannes 2001. He directed "Don't call me father", a short film. Paul Milgrom, one of producers of this film won Nobel Prize in Economics 2020. He directed a documentary: "Me and the Cult Leader- A modern report on the banality of evil in 2020". The film was premiered at Sheffield Doc Festa 2020 and invited to many film festivals such as IDFA(best of fests). And it was also short listed for IDA Awards 2020. He is an author of many books. He often writes about philosophy, society, economics, and business as well as novels. He also works as a management consultant for inspirations.
