Luís Campos

A Portuguese filmmaker with a PhD in new media arts, he has participated in Berlinale Talents, Rotterdam Lab, Locarno Match Me, and others. He is the founder of Guiões - Portuguese Language Screenplay Festival, Plot - Professional Script Lab, and drama.pt, laboratories and festivals focused on dramaturgical and narrative production in cinema. He also participated in the development and production of films in Brazil and Belgium before dedicating himself to his production company, Matiné, in Portugal. He directed, among others, the short films "Carga" (2017), "Boca Cava Terra" (2022), and "Monte Clérigo" (2023). "Terra Vil" is his first feature film.
