King-Wei Chu is a graduate of Concordia University in Communications. He is programmer and presenter at Montreal Fantasia Film Festival. King's fascination with cinema began when his grandmother brought him to see weekly dose of Hong Kong and Taiwanese kung-fu films at the youthful age of 2. He is a staunch supporter of watching films on 35mm (even if the print is faded to Eastman pink) before even touching them on DVD. King also performs stand up comedy where he pokes fun of his beloved films.
