Sean Mik'ael Butler is the co-founder and President (Literary & Management) of Cultivate Entertainment Partners, a forward-thinking, global film & television company and talent management firm based in Los Angeles and Oslo; focused on cultivating talent, finding, developing and producing the highest-caliber motion picture, television, and digital content. Butler spent the first four years of his career working with legendary, two time Oscar-winning producer Scott Rudin before moving on to key positions at companies such as MTV, Nickelodeon, Mark Burnett Productions, Mess Media, and ICM. He has worked with dozens of recognizable names such as Oscar-winning directors Lee Daniels and Sofia Coppola, and has developed strong relationships with buyers at every major studio, network, and production company in Hollywood. Butler is a well-respected literary and talent manager who has been building relationships in the industry for over a decade. He brings a client roster of over 40 working actors, writers, and directors to the table who are working on major productions such as Quantico, Marvels' Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Netflix's adaptation of Spike Lee's classic She's gotta have it. Butler is 2007 graduate of Hofstra University with a BA in Film and Television. In 2015, he graduated with an MFA in media studies from The New School in New York City.
