Ruben Carbajal

Ruben Carbajal is a writer for stage, screens and beyond. He was head-writer for Awesomeness TV's 'Top Five Live' and several of Fuse TV's top-rated specials. His published works include the stage play 'The Gifted Program,' a 1980's High School comedy set in his hometown of Racine, Wisconsin. Next Stage Press recently released acting editions of 'Portland' and the one-act collection 'Hold & Other Short Plays.' His work can also be found in many collections including, 'Outstanding Men's Monologues,' 'More Scenes and Monologues from the Best New Plays,' 'Five Minute Plays,' and 'One Minute Theatre: A Practical Guide to Tiny Plays.' He's also a live entertainment and speech writer for clients like the NBA, Airbnb and Kris Jenner, and others. Ruben lives in Santa Monica with his wife and furry Yorkie son.
