James Thomas Flynn

James Thomas Flynn was born in West Hills, California to parents Matt Flynn and Lucia Apicella. James is of Italian and Irish-Canadian decent, holds Italian and US passports, and grew up in Los Angeles surrounded by the film industry. James spent his first year of college, after receiving a full scholarship, at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, where he studied Business and played D1 collegiate football. Flynn spent his final three years at the University of California Santa Barbara, graduating with a degree in Film and Media, while running D1 track for the Gauchos. At UCSB, James was the Vice President of the Cal Gamma chapter of his fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon. Flynn is a film, television, and music video producer, as well as a IATSE 728 Union member based out of Los Angeles. He is also a renowned lighting designer, whose work can be seen not only on the big screen, but also in venues world-wide, as well as in published look-books.
