Travis was born in San Diego, California. After winning a Natural World Championship title in 2000, Wojcik quickly became a television personality when Producer-Director Janice Engel for the Discovery Channel took notice of Wojcik's dominance and charismatic presence in the bodybuilding circuit. She made Wojcik subject of the highly-rated TV documentary titled, "Bodybuilders" which aired regularly for close to a decade and became the biggest documentary on bodybuilding ever made for television; and, second, only in popularity to Pumping Iron. The crux of "Bodybuilders" chronicles Wojcik's championship as well as his life story; it was aired on the Discovery Channel, Discovery Health Channel, and Fit TV. Wojcik was profiled amongst bodybuilding icons such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steve Reeves, and Lou Ferrigno. However, worldwide fitness popularity was not enough for Wojcik. With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, Wojcik quested to complete his education. While performing in New York stage productions, he balanced his education between Julliard Academy of the Arts, Uta Hagen's HB Studio, and Columbia University where he completed his formal education in 2008 with a degree in economics. While in college he also performed in many productions at the New York Metropolitan Opera both as an actor and musician. Most currently he is performing in the Emmy Award winning production of The Met Live in HD leading the Anvil Chorus as a rebellious gypsy warrior. This production is broadcast in thousands of theaters throughout the world, live. He also performs standup comedy at the prestigious NY Club, Standup LIVE in a routine called Bodybuilder Standup. Wojcik lives in Malibu, California and New York City. When he is not performing in New York stage shows, he is on the West coast surfing and lifting weights at Gold's Gym in Venice, CA between castings.
