Kulcha Connection

It was in the month of March 2000, that Face-T and Rebel got together to form the group Kulcha Connection. Face-T, a French Canadian born as Nicolas Latendresse in Montreal, moved to Jamaica with his mother when he was three years old. He grew up in a small village called Roaring River and was fascinated with the Jamaican culture and reggae music. Rebel, born as Hantz Lalanne in Montreal, is the son of Haitian Parents that Immigrated To Canada. He has been performing on the local music scene from an early age which has always been his passion. Kulcha Connection's music is a blend of dancehall reggae and urban hip-hop/R&B. Their music is inspired by spirituality, love, social & cultural topics that are expressed in English, French, Jamaican Patois & Haitian Creole.
