Matt Atkinson is a Toronto-based writer and director known for films such as Room For Rent, Dakota. Matt's first feature Dakota won the Jury Prize at the Winnipeg International Film Festival. Matt's second feature Room For Rent won Best Feature at the L.A. Comedy Film Festival, Chicago Comedy Film Festival and The Canadian Film Fest. Matt also won Best Direction and Best Writing in a Feature at the Canadian Comedy Awards for Room For Rent.
