Melody Miyuki Ishikawa

Miyuki Melody Ishikawa was born on February 24, 1982 & raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is the oldest of 3 girls to Japanese immigrants. She graduated from Punahou School in 2000. At 19, she moved to Tokyo & rose to prominence for her song covers. Several of them were featured on TV shows. From 2002-2008, she released independent music & found small fame through TV shows & popular music. She was chosen to host the TV show J-MELO as she was fluent in English. In March 2009, she married Miyavi while 5 months pregnant. They have 2 daughters & 1 son.
