Ethan Petersen

Ethan Petersen is a Primetime Emmy winning Supervising Casting Director and known for his work in television and a multitude of media platforms. He has been nominated for 4 Emmys and 3 CSA Artios Awards for his work as the Head of Casting on RuPaul's Drag Race. In 2020 he finally took home his first Emmy. He co-founded and serves as President of The Casting Firm, a Los Angeles based casting and development company for over a decade. His career behind the scenes in television began in 2000 and since, he has gone on to serve as head of casting for over 200 projects, ranging from newsworthy television events like the "Same Love" mass wedding (with Madonna & Queen Latifah) at the Grammys, to Emmy winning cultural phenomenons like RuPaul's Drag Race. In his two decade unscripted and development career he has also served as the Supervising Producer on The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency; discovered talent to help craft and mold show concepts for Bravo's Sweet Home, as well as, celebrity book global iconic talent such as Lady Gaga and Fergie to name a few. His casting credits include programs like Say I Do on Netflix, Bravos Million Dollar Listing Franchise, RuPaul's Drag Race, the Grammy Awards, Let's Make a Deal, the Real Housewives, MasterChef, American Idol: Idol Gives Back, Hell's Kitchen, Swamp People, The Joker's Wild with Snoop Dogg, and more.
