Patti Sommers

Patti Sommers is a singer and actress. Patti has released 4 singles and an album under four different names! Her first single was "Paper Dreams" on Polydor under the name 'Pattie Lane'. The second single, "Mouth" was with Decca under the name 'Claire'. The next two singles featured Patti doing her own backing vocals and calling herself "Patti and the Patettes"; they were "Bill" and "Summer Heartbreak". Finally, Patti released an album under her own name of Patti Sommers. That album was called "The Last Night", the album title taken from the last track on the LP. In addition to these recordings Patti was a regular with the BBC Radio Orchestra, with well over 300 broadcasts to her credit. She was also a regular on BBC's Pebble Mill at One as well as making guest appearances on The Golden Shot and other TV programmes. Patti was also a winner of the BBC's Rising Stars.
