Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Richard began his acting career at an early age. After several successful stage productions in Pittsburgh, he moved away to study Theatre and Communications at Gannon University, where he gave several notable performances on the University stage and throughout the community. He received rave reviews for his portrayal of Eugene in "Biloxi Blues" and Herr Schulz in "Cabaret." Upon graduating he took the next step and moved to New York City, where he tackled Off-Off-Broadway, several short films, commercials and numerous supporting roles in feature films, including Skinned Alive (2008) and Pink Eye (2008). Looking for new inspiration, he moved to San Francisco where he currently focuses primarily on his own projects. He spends most of his days working for the Left Coast Theatre Co., but always makes time for challenging and exciting new roles in film and TV. He is currently in development for his first feature.
