Joana Jabace

Born in Rio de Janeiro with a degree in Journalism at PUC, Joana Jabace joined Globo in 2006 and worked with Amora Mautner and Ricardo Waddington and collected more than 12 works on TV Globo, such as 'Paraíso Tropical' (2007), 'Cordel Encantado' (2011) and 'Avenida Brazil' (2012). Joana signed her first director-general in 2015, with the production 'The Rule of the Game', by João Emanuel Carneiro. Already 'Segunda Chamada' (2019) marks the debut of Joana as artistic director, followed by 'Diário de um Confinado' (2020), nominated for an Emmy, being a pioneer in shooting dramaturgy remotely during the pandemic.
