Tola Szlagowska

Tola Szlagowska (Blog 27) is the youngest MTV European Music Award Winner ever. Blog 27 was officially formed in 2005, or 1993 (Tola's birth) or even further in the past. Who knows ;) Signed to Universal Music, released 2 albums in several countries such as Poland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Italy, France, South Africa, Taiwan, Japan, and France. (The sales reached double-platinum status). In 2006, b27 toured with Tokio Hotel. They played over 25 sold out shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, each in big arenas (5 000 to 15 000). Copenhagen, Denmark, 2006: Received an MTV European Music Award, becoming the youngest winner ever! (Tola was 13) Cannes, France, 2007: Won EBBA (European Boarder Breaker Award) among other artists such as Corinne Bailey Rae and Tokio Hotel. Blog 27 performed in many European countries as well as Japan, while promoting the album. Blog 27 was featured in "39 i pol" (Polish TV series, which aired on the biggest national commercial channel- TVN). Tola played one of the main characters. Blog27 music was featured as a soundtrack for the show as well as performed by the band in several episodes. In 2008, Tola moved to Los Angeles, where she chose to continue her education at the Hamilton High School Academy of Music in Los Angeles. She studies voice, music theory, piano , dance, and music production. Tola is responsible for the entire concept of blog27, including music videos, album covers, photo shoots etc. She pays attention to detail and has a clear vision of what she wants to do. She writes all of her music and lyrics, and produces her songs.
