Tyler Maroney

Tyler Maroney has worked as a private detective for more than fifteen years. He is the co-founder of QRI, a firm that specializes in large, complex investigations that benefit the public interest. Tyler's background is in journalism. He has produced documentary films for Frontline (PBS America), was a reporter for Fortune magazine, and has written for The Wall Street Journal, Harper's, Monocle, and The New York Times. His investigative work has been featured in documentaries, including The Case Against Adnan Syed on Sky Atlantic / HBO and Free Meek on Amazon Prime Video. Tyler and QRI have been profiled in Esquire, Fast Company, and Rolling Stone, among many other media outlets and he is a regular contributor to OpEd pages, national television segments, such as Cheddar TV, and podcasts, including Vanity Fair's Inside the Hive. In 2001, he was a Fulbright scholar in Spain
