Marko Novakovic

MARKO NOVAKOVIC was born in Belgrade. He graduated direction on Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He is director of several theater plays and a lot of TV programs: TV serials, varieties,music programs, live concerts (acts), game shows, talk shows, commercials and music video-clips for some of the most popular performers in Serbia and aboard. His first TV feature film THE MASK (2007) wins a special jury award on TV festival "LISTAPAD" (Minsk 2008). One year later he makes his first feature film SOMEONE IS STILL WAITING (2009) which wins ten awards and prizes on Serbian and international film and TV festivals. Few years later he shoots his second feature film MENAGERIE (2012) which also wins several awards on Serbian and international film and TV festivals. Next year he made a fiction-documentary film THE PATH STROWN WITH ROSES (2013). Two years later he finishes his third feature film STAIRLESS (2015) which started its festival life successfully, with a lot of rewards. From November 2010 he works as Editor Responsible in Radio Television Serbia for drama and fiction serial programs.
