Aliethea D'Angelo is a Director, Writer, and Conceptualist with a long standing career in the entertainment industry. From childhood, Aliethea has had a passion for all things creative and over the years she has developed a visual style that expresses the vulnerable yet gritty exploration of often overlooked characters. With a penchant for seeing the beauty in the darkness, Aliethea takes an intuitive approach to her work that delves into the inner workings of each story she shares. Often referred to as an auteur by her peers, Aliethea has a unique way of being involved with all aspects of her projects. With her years of on-set experience in various departments, prior to taking the helm, she embraces a collaborative approach that inspires a safe and inclusive workplace. The energy of creativity and mutual respect in turn is reflected in the outcome of the final product. Her visual stitching of genres communicates directly with the audience in a way that dares them to lean in and immerse themselves in another world. After receiving accolades for her feature script "Sunset" (now in development) and numerous short form narratives, Aliethea recently tried her hand at unscripted documentary by traveling across the country for 73 days filming the US during the pandemic and election year 2020. She also has a feature film," Criticized", streaming on SKY network and Amazon UK and her most recent project titled "Normal" is in post production.
