Hector Astobiza was born in Santander on January 11, 1978. He studied at the Drama School of Santander, where he spent one of his best time as a student: excellent professors and unforgettable mates. There he realizes that what is started as a hobby, can become necessity. Continuing his professional studies in Madrid he also studied two years at the Workshop Interpretation of M ª del Mar Navarro and Andrés Hernández, learning the techniques of Jack Lecoq. Permanently moved to the capital, he started working with young directors of the ECAM, Tai and Resad Madrid, with whom he continues to work today. He's worked in various commercials and TV series such as "Amar en tiempos revueltos", "Hermanos y detectives", "Al filo de la ley" and "Cuéntame cómo pasó" etc. Since 2007 he's taking part into a theater company working at the company's emblematic shows like "Pirates, Corsairs and other Temerarios" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare. Nowadays he participates in the show "El Soldado y el Saco Mágico". His next project will be a series of collaborations with various artists including the virtuous violinist Natasha Korsakova.
