Esben Toft Jacobsen

Esben Toft Jacobsen was born on May 25, 1977 in Gentofte Municipality, Denmark. He is a Danish director known for The Great Bear, Beyond Beyond and The rain. His primary focus is projects for children and young adults. He has experience in scriptwriting, worldbuilding, and design for animation and live action. Esben has created and co-written two animated feature films, The Great Bear (2011) and Beyond Beyond (2014), one animated TV series, Kiwi & Strit (2016), and worked on the live action Netflix show The Rain as creator and visual supervisor. Currently, he is writing and developing new animated shows.
