Robert Boyd

Rob Boyd has been making short films and writing scripts since his teenage years. He studied film and animation at the Queensland College of Art. After college he set up a production company, producing numerous live-action TV commercials and music videos. In the early nineties Rob decided to specialize in animation, one of his first loves. Rob made two stop-motion short films and then formed a boutique studio - Cycho - Film & Animation, which produces claymation, stop-motion, mixed-media and 3D computer animation. Cycho have created numerous animated and live action television commercials in Australia and Internationally. Cycho clients have included Artline, Australian Red Cross, Fox Studios, HCF, JJJ Radio, McDonalds, Pepsi and Roche, amongst many others. Over the last few years, Rob has been writing and developing a number of feature film screenplays in the horror and thriller genres.
