When I was a kid, I dreamed of being a private detective. I loved the idea of getting inside the head of another person; studying their behavior, wearing a disguise, a secret identity perhaps. I also wrote elaborate stories that I'd passionately act out to my sweet and dutiful parents- for hours, on a strict 6-day schedule with 2 shows a day on weekends . Who can deny I was born to act? When I'm not acting, I'm exploring the world, practicing yoga, learning Portuguese, or cooking elaborate meals for my friends and family. I'm a glutton for global culture and have traveled to all but one continent, but my favorite place to escape to is my family cabin in the Adirondaks where I'm lucky to find solace to write and enter the wilds of my imagination on paper. Brooklyn is where I call home, and where I've grown into what casting offices have described as: a confident, smart mouthed know -it-all who is fiercely maternal, emotionally raw, and naturally grounded in her belief in human potential. My favorite adjective to describe my work though is truthful, because I aim to bring truth to every person I embody. Afterall, that is what the detective is hired for...
