Dane is an independent filmmaker originally from Kailua, Hawaii, currently living in Los Angeles, California. In Wonderland Films is his creative initiative to further his filmmaking career but more importantly to harvest an environment for collaborative filmmaking. Dane's first film post film school and the first under the In Wonderland Films' banner, Alice, premiered three years ago at the Trail Dance Film Festival where it collected an award for Best Dramatic Narrative Short. In 2005, Dane graduated with honors from Columbia College Chicago where he studied film directing. After college he continued his film education as an assistant on the ABC drama, "LOST". Amidst the chaos of post graduation and a full time production gig, he produced two short films, the previously mentioned, Alice, and After Life (loosely based on a feature film script he is hoping to get into production sometime in 2015). His current film, The Long Love (2014), an be seen at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood in January 2015. Currently in post production is his most ambitious project to date called, "Lost Detroit" (2015). An hour long television pilot taking place in the heart of the struggling yet heartwarmingly prideful city of Detroit, Michigan.
