Tristan Teller

Tristan Teller is an actor known for The Terror (2018) , EastEnders (1985) , and Legend (2015) Teller's screen work begins with the desirable kid Furness in the Martin Kemp Paula Yates film Monk Dawson (1998) where his rebel appeal destroys the lead character's religious faith. Teller more recently plays the iconic writer Charles Dickens in Ridley Scott's The Terror (2018). By asking to take drama lessons after school Teller's parents enrolled him at Redroofs theatre school, and soon after he began acting in lead roles alongside his class mates Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston before going on to study at Italia Conti the UK's original drama school where he won the Nationwide Best Actor award two years running. Tellers work on screen and stage has taken him to London, Paris, Australia, Belgium, Budapest and touring theatres all across the British Isles. As of 2019 He lives in Eastern Australia. Teller has a musical side excelling in four instruments with scholarships to Eton, Bedales, Italia Conti, and he composes classical music. Teller sees musical study as foundational training for becoming an actor: "In music we are using our awareness over a few limbs to communicate patterns of sound with feeling, which is amazing. In acting our entire being is our instrument, so we can communicate far more. That's why I fell in love with acting. Everything anyone can perceive about us, we can use, if we are aware enough.
