Ever since his first play credit as Winthrop in the South Broward High School winter musical production of The Music Man when he was 10 years old, Johnny knew the stage was his life. After his family moved to the safer streets of Boca Raton, he got involved with family theatre in his junior high school days. Later, he went to a high school for the arts in West Palm Beach, commuting by train back and forth for four years, eventually getting his high school diploma and introductory training in theatre. Upon graduating from high school, he was offered acceptance into New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida; a conservatory for music, dance, visual and theatre, on a full-ride scholarship. There, he received extensive training in theatre, between set building hours and actor workshops, classes monday through friday from 8:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night sometimes. He created his own one-person show 'Stopping Point' and performed it with his graduating senior class and was fortunate to play roles such as Tom in 'Blue Window', Louis Ironson in 'Angels in America: Millennium Approaches', and Menelaus in 'Women of Troy' by Euripides, which was performed in Greece! He graduated from the program in April of 2007 and holds a Bachelors in the Fine Arts degree. Fresh out of college, he is working with such regional theatre companies as The Promethean Theatre, Mosaic Theatre, and Shakespeare Miami. Recent credits include: Sid in 'Cyrano de Bergerac', Kent in 'Talk Radio' and Claudio in 'Much Ado About Nothing'. He continues to make this journey into the world of theatre with a move to Chicago, hooking up with Victory Gardens Theatre, Assembly Line Comedy and the Improv Olympic in March of 2007.
