Adam Rettek

Born in Queens, NY and raised in Croton-On-Hudson, NY, Rettek, was a bred movie geek. His parents converted Adam early on by regularly bringing him to the movie theater every weekend and the local video rental store most Saturday nights. It was not long before his love of film transitioned into a full blown passion for filmmaking when his mother bought him a used video camera from eBay at the age of 12. He attended Full Sail University to pursue his love of film, receiving a bachelor's degree at the age of 19. For several years, he worked in commercials, music videos and independent film productions in New York City. Ten years ago after visiting LA for the first time, he made the decision to move to Los Angeles a year later to try his hand in the film capital of the world. Rettek has worked as a director, screenwriter, producer and editor. Additionally, he has worked as a bartender at a hotel, an airport, as well as local neighborhood bars, constantly drawing inspiration from an enormously diverse clientele. He resides in North Hollywood with one of his greatest sources of inspiration, his dog Granger.
