Janneke Bekkema

Janneke started in the TV/movie industry when she was 18 years old. She started as an editor of news items for a local TV station. Her first TV production was a local TV show called "Dankert&Dankert". She started out as a sound assistant/sound mixer. After this production she went back to school. Later on she got an offer by the director of "Dankert&Dankert" and the sound guy to work as a sound assistant/sound mixer for a big movie "De Scheepsjongens van Bontekoe". When she finished school she got a job as a promo producer right away. Making trailers for a big TV channel. She did this for one and a half years. There was a re-organization: last in, first out. She went on as an editor and edited two series: "Pauwen en Reigers" and "Van Jonge Leu en Oale Groond". During all of this, she also got her own media business: "Twins Media&Design", with her sister Bettiena Bekkema, since 2007.
