As a Producer, Dawn has worked on a wide variety of shows from TLC's hit Miami Ink to the Discovery's top rated program, Gold Rush. For over 19 years she has produced, managed or hosted shows that engage and entertain audiences. Starting out as a 15 year-old casting assistant for Violets Are Blue (a feature film starring Sissy Spacek and Kevin Kline that filmed in her summer town of Ocean City, MD.), Dawn got the entertainment bug. After graduating with a degree from the highly acclaimed, Emerson College, she moved to LA to pursue her dreams of being an entertainment insider and Producer. She started with a bang assisting a very well known Film Producer and got to get her feet wet as a Development Assistant. Unfortunately, the 1994 Northridge quake had her return to her East Coast roots. In Miami, Dawn began a new career as VP of Production for what was the largest production company in the state. After 5 years, heading various shows, she moved on to produced TLC's Miami Ink and helped create various other programs along the way. Her own on camera debut would come first as a carpenter for TLC's In A Fix, then as a conservationist, traveling around the world to help animals and humans alike in Animal Planet's International series, Planet Action. She would return to producing but signed on as a carpenter for one episode of WE Networks, The Ugliest House on the Block. In 2013, Dawn returned to Los Angeles to pursue her first love of development and has been creating and developing her own programs with some very talented creative partners. She is the Executive Producer and Co-Host of the lifestyle series, Lifestyle Detour, which will debut in 2017 on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV. She is also involved in developing and producing other shows within the reality genre and is working on her first feature film as a Producer . She is excited to be a part of the ever growing television and film landscape in Los Angeles.
