Born in the mid-west, Susan traveled in the Carnival business as a child. Her home was uprooted several times before her father, an entrepreneur, decided to open a manufacturing company in Florida. Susan studied at University of Florida where she discovered she wanted to make movies. Susan then transferred to Florida State University to study film and acting. She studied acting while working in tandem with the film school on over 25 student film productions. Susan also studied in London where she produced a short film at the London International Film School while studying the classics in acting. Her passion for the Arts led her to NYC upon graduation. In New York, she found her voice as a writer as she continued her acting studies at Pan Asian Repertory, and Michael Howard Studios. Susan gained acceptance into the 3 year conservatory at Stella Adler, but decided to perform along with produce her first full length one-woman show, Off-Broadway. Susan left for Hollywood a month later. In Hollywood, she went on to work at entertainment law firm, Myman Greenspan Fineman Fox Rosenberg & Light LLP while attending UCLA extension for film producing. Susan then became a reader at Media Talent Group, and she was offered a job in management with Vincent Cirrincione and Associates, however production called her back to New York. Susan became bi-coastal for 3 years splitting her time between N.Y and L.A. She produced a short documentary that screened at Tribeca Film Festival (All Access) in 2009, and production managed a feature documentary which premiered at Sundance Film Festival, 2013. Susan returned back to her roots of performing and producing her own work winning best short film director at the 51st Korean American Association of Greater New York's Annual Gala where her film played in front of 1,000 people. Her passion for telling diversified stories continues to expand through her work on a new one-woman show, and her latest screenplay, among other projects.
