Justin Tyler

Justin was born on August 30, 1988 to Shane Tyler and Sheila Sams in Gainesville, Florida. Growing up in Union, Florida's smallest county, he enjoyed reading, four-wheeling, writing, paint-balling, and computers among other things. At age 13, Tyler took an active interest in photography, journalism, and acting and found engaging ways to combine them creatively. He wrote several skits and scenes in his theatre arts classes and earned recognition performing in every play his high school put on in his 4 years. His high school performance record includes Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, My Fair Lady, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, The Wizard of Oz, and Guys & Dolls. Justin spent his Junior and Senior years being copy writer, layout editor, photographer, and Editor-in-Chief of his high school's yearbook as well as taking vivacious standpoints in event committees, homecoming festivities, and public relations opportunities. As a senior, Justin was nominated by his fellow classmates as Most Likely to Succeed, Best Dressed, Most Talented, and Most School Spirit. He was also candidates for both Homecoming King and Prom King. Earning his diploma, Tyler graduated on May 12, 2006 from Union County High School in Lake Butler, Florida. Spending the first year out of high school working, writing, and traveling, Tyler began penning several short stories, poems, novels, and screenplays. He has won praise for originality and quality in his short stories as well as his few published poems. Today, Justin is exercising his creative writing muscle and looking for acting opportunities. In 1998, Justin's sister, Robyn Shyanne, was born. He also has two half-brothers named Talon and Dawson.
