Born in Van Nuys California in January of 1980 to restaurant owners John and Theresa Amodeo; Jasin grew up in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles till the age of 8. An artistic natural from the very start, Jasin was never found too great a distance from a box of crayons and sheets of blank paper. His love for animation continued to grow over the years, fueled by the classic films and shorts of Disney, Warner Brothers, Hanna-Barbera, and MGM. After a move to the Santa Clarita Valley district of Saugus, Jasin's flame for animation continued to rage as a whole new generation of Disney films spurred him on to take art class after art class in pursuit of a career in animation. It was around the age of 13 when Jasin began to create animated concepts of his own, as well as produce, and direct his own short films. His first film took the form of an animated music video in which his singer/songwriting step father Mike Delong was animated on screen singing and dancing to one of his original songs. At the age of 17, Jasin was well on his way to completing nearly 15 short films, all of them based on characters or concepts of his own design. It was also at 17 that Jasin created one of his first highly touted animated properties, "The Watered Down, Mis-Adventures of Paint Guy," which was for a short time in early stages of development at a major studio. Since then Jasin has gone on to produce over 40 intellectual animated properties including "The Monkster," about a boy and his half monkey, half rooster imaginary friend; And the upcoming episodic science fiction animated/live-action spoof "Really Bad Movie! The Really Good T.V. Show!" Jasin's credits include The CGI "Spiderman," series for MTV from Sony Television Animation. "Batman Beyond," "The Justice League," "Static Shock," "Osmosis Jones: The Series," "Baby Looney Tunes," "Hysteria," and "Pinky, Elmyra and The Brain," for Warner Brothers Television Animation, and "Mickey Mouse Works," for Walt Disney Television Animation. As an independent producer/director though his company SWAG Entertainment his credits include various privately funded films and shorts, as well as "Colt 40 Feinberg: The Cartoon," "The Court Jester," and pilots for "Really Bad Movie! The Really Good TV Show," and "The Monkster"
