He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1970.In 1973, he plays first role in the movie Ultimul cartus .Other notable roles in films : Un comisar acuzã (1974), Pe malul stîng al Dunarii albastre (1983) and Piratii din Pacific (1975).
