Leonard Pickel

With over 30 years of design and operations experience, Leonard Pickel has created over 80 original and innovative Haunted Attractions. His creative accomplishments include design and sales of the industry's first turn-key Haunted House 'kits,' and the first Haunted Attraction adaptation of the "Field Theory" (the triangular grid system). Leonard has designed for major venues worldwide including Madison Square Garden, Universal Studios Florida, Six Flags theme parks, Kentucky Kingdom and Screams Terror Park, as well as Haunted Attractions in foreign countries including Puerto Rico, Canada, Russia, China and India. Over 1 million people from Los Angeles to New York, Orlando to Seattle, have experienced the "Pickel Theory" of Haunt Design first hand. Since 1993, his own attraction, Mayhem Manor, has provided Pickel with a hands-on testing facility for new fright concepts, which are then implemented into new designs for his clients.
