Katie Walter

Katie Walter was born in Hollywood, Florida to Klaus and Michelle Walter. At age four, they relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana - where her father passed away five years later. At age 16, career opportunities took Katie to Manhattan, where she studied acting and modeled full time as a plus-size model for Ford Models, Inc. Katie also traveled as a key-note speaker linking the topics of body image and spirituality. In 2004, Katie made her professional stage debut performing an original, autobiographical monologue Off-Broadway in "Pieces (of A**)" at Dodger Stages. During this time she also booked her first national network commercial dancing for Slim Fast, made her first co-star television appearance in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," and worked on her first several New York City film sets. In 2008, another unexpected career opportunity moved Katie to London, England where she lived and worked until getting the call to move to Hollywood, California - where she arrived February 20, 2009.
