Cassie Lynn Young

Cassie Lynn Young is a graduate from the University of Louisville with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance. She was also one of the valedictorians of her high school graduating class. Cassie began dancing at age 12 after doing gymnastics since age 3. She developed a passion for dancing and performing. Cassie is a five time National Dance Champion, four times dancing herself and one time as a coach. Cassie danced through high school and decided not to try out for her college dance team in order to keep coaching dance and to further pursue acting. When Cassie was 16 years old she started to take acting classes, before this point she had only acted in school plays and was a competitive dancer. Through acting classes Cassie developed a love for acting and wanted to get more involved. By the time she was 18 she was ready to move to New York City and make it big but she decided to stay home in Louisville, KY and finish college. Since Cassie stayed in Louisville she started acting in Independent films in the area where she made he debut in a feature film called 'Monstrosity' by ZP International. Cassie has also been in print ads for Wright Studio in Jeffersonville, IN and for Craven Corner Enterprise in Lexington, KY. She also appeared in one of Ardie Dean Harris's music videos. She then went on to act in several short films and a couple more feature films one from Current Productions titled 'A Hell Shared' where she took on her first dramatic role and a campy film from Goatboy Films called 'Queen of the Cursed World' where she played a robot. Then with the pressure of school and work she took a small break from acting to finish her degree. During this time she did promotional work for various liquors and other brands and she also was an extra in Walt Disney's 'Secretariat.' Cassie was most recently in a short film from Transcendent Productions titled 'Hindsight 2020' where she took on the role of the daughter in this political drama and was also a casting director on this film. Cassie worked with Transcendent Productions again to cast, act, and do hair and makeup in the comedy pilot 'The Complex.' Cassie works with Faux Finish (Airbrush Tan and Makeup) as a model, event coordinator, and artist assistant
