Olivia Simone

Director of, Off The Beaten Track, an Australian production company working with film and theatre, also, bringing acting workshops to Australian schools and remote areas. She studied at the prestigious NIDA, in Sydney Australia, after the likes of Cate Blanchet and Mel Gibson. She has worked with US coach Larry Moss (Leonardo DI Caprio, Hillary Swank) Susan Batson (Nicole Kidman) and Elizabeth Kemp (Bradley Cooper). Appearances in many of Australias renowned TV shows, Olivia also works extensively with Bell Shakespeare and the Australian Shakespeare Company. Her recent Australian theatre appearance in 'The Girl who loved the Beatles' also had a run in Los Angeles, followed by Olivia playing Virginia in Australian Theatre Company's Rueben Gutherie where she was nominated for Best Actress. She is currently living in Los Angeles. Her most recent short film Azzurro, that she wrote, produced and stared in, has been touring festivals world wide and awarded Best International Short Film at The Santa Monica Film Festival. She is currently writing a feature film Rosa, that will be a co-production between Canada and Australia and filmed in Southern Italy, in homage to her Italian Heritage. December 2018
