Biography

Raquel Quintana Martín was always fully aware of the fact that acting was definitely her way. From a very young age, she took official lessons in Spanish and Contemporary Dance but soon discovered that acting was her individual route towards personal and professional development. In 2003, she achieved her first leading role in the children's TV series, "El mundo mágico de Brunelesky" (Telecinco). The show was so overwhelmingly successful that, in fact, it was adapted into a musical and is running in the Arlequín Theatre and the Nuevo Teatro Alcalá venue, in Madrid. From this moment on, she develops a rich, varied and constant career in television, participating in hits such as "Amar en tiempos revueltos" or "El secreto de Puente Viejo". Raquel also took part in series like "Gran Hotel", "Con el culo al aire" and the international audiovisual production, "Falcón, el ciego de Sevilla" (Falcón, the blind man of Seville), directed by Pete Travis.
