President of White Collar Pictures and DGA certified independent award winning writer/director, Gavin Rapp is the son of the late hall of fame singer, Janet Vogel Rapp of the famous doo-wop group The Skyliners. During the early part of his life he traveled with his mom and The Skyliners and was deeply immersed into the life of music and entertainment. When he could, he filmed the shows with his Kodak super 8 camera and from those experiences was deeply affected by this medium of expression. Gavin usually writes, produces and directs his own projects. He has produced, written, edited and or directed four feature films. His feature 'Since I Don't Have You,' had a total of 7 sold out screenings in Pittsburgh and Cleveland and was the 6th biggest story in Pittsburgh entertainment in 2012. Michael Keaton even endorsed the story, calling it a "heartfelt piece about a little known Pittsburgh story." Since I Don't Have You won the Art House Feature Film of the Year award at the New Hope/Philadelphia Film Festival, and was the Official Selection of the Buffalo Niagara International Film Festival in 2014. Gavin's looking to remake this passion project about his mother with A list actors, and explore options to have current A list music artists remake The Skyliners first album to re-release the soundtrack to a wider audience. Trapped, starred Corbin Bernsen and Tom Atkins won the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival's Best Crime Feature Film award and went on to get distribution in Canada and the U.S from ITN Distribution and e Entertainment. Demon Tongue and Gearheads were released by Uncork'd Entertainment in 2016 on Redbox. In development is an emotionally charged action project called The Mob Priest - Book I and a short called Father Frank supporting the overall Mob Priest project. Gavin is also shooting a micro budget mini-series called Holy Driver. Gavin is a '85 Central Catholic High School grad and '92 Graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, with a BA in Economics.
