Elvi Cano

Elvi Cano has over 10 years of international experience working in the film industry. During her career she has become an invaluable asset for the Spanish and Latin American film industry in the United States. She is the Executive Director of EGEDA in the US and the Talent Manager of The Platino Awards for Ibero-American Cinema, as well as consultant of The American Cinematheque in Los Angeles and The Olympia Theater in Miami. Under these positions she has become one of the main experts in identifying Spanish and Latino talent, showing an innate sense of how to best promote them, while building strong relationships with key professionals in the Latin-American and in the US Film Industry. She is an accomplished events manager, experienced in communicating with filmmakers, talent representatives, agencies, executives and production partners. In 2018 was recognized as one of the 25 most powerful women by the magazine People en español.
